The Goal

After losing a significant amount of weight, I have gained 1/3 of it back. It's my goal to lose the weight and keep it off. I want to also find myself in the process and to develop a healthy lifestyle.

Day 93

I did some light cardio today.

Okay for the better news. I have signed up for the

2010 Trafigura 10K Run for the Ronald McDonald House on Dec 4, 2010.

I have 90 days to train for this awesome charitable run, and it gives me some new motivation/goal for my weight loss as well.

Here is a sample training I am hoping to do for this 10K Run.

Week 1:
Day 1: 1/1 x 10 (1 minute run, 1 minute walk x 10, for a total of 20 minutes)
Day 2: 1/1 x 10
Day 3: 1/1 x 10
Day 4: 40-45 minutes cross-training

Week 2:
Day 1: 1/1 x 11
Day 2: 1/1 x 12
Day 3: 1/1 x 13
Day 4: 40-45 minutes cross-training

Week 3:
Day 1: 1/1 x 15
Day 2: 1/1 x 15
Day 3: 1/1 x 15

I am going to need to buy some new running shoes. [Jocelyn saw my shoes and gave me a look. So she suggested I go to Fleet Feet and get some awesome running shoes.]

One thing I am worried about are my knees. Perhaps I should get a knee brace.
